The scrubber or washing tower is a filtering device that allows to reduce the concentration of VOC and the dust present in a gaseous current.
The reduction is essentially produced by an impact process between the nebulized reduction liquid and the pollutants present in the air. Contaminated air is introduced into the lower part of the washing tower through the inlet port and is washed countercurrent, at low speed, over a large contact surface.
The installations are supplied with all the equipment – recirculation pumps, washing lines with spray nozzles, lines to reintegrate the water in the network, control instruments (PH -RH-S), dosing group of reagents – necessary to maintain correct operation.
The reduction systems are differentiated into 3 types: Venturi, Static and Floating
